Wellness Apps. The wellness industry is approaching $2 trillion worldwide – why not tap into this burgeoning market, both as a consumer and as an entrepreneur? As of March 2019, Google Play has 37,143 health and wellness apps. A survey last year found 42 percent of U.S. adults stated they used digital technology to measure their fitness or health goals. Is the Robot Psychologist the Next Big AI App?

Maintaining good mental health has become destigmatized in recent years. Integrating technology with human wellness is a growing trend. Sensor Tower estimates that the top-10 grossing wellness apps (Calm, Headspace, 10% Happier, Simple Habit, Breathe, Yoga Studio: Mind & Body, Zen, The Mindfulness App, 7Mind Meditation, Abide – Christian meditation) earned $27 million in global revenue in the first quarter of 2018 alone. More . . .

Here are a few of my favourite apps which I have found most useful.

Headspace: A subscription based guided meditation aid -

Breathe (iOS only): an app to remind you to take time out to focus on your breathing -

Insight Timer (iOS and Android): Home to more than 5,000,000 meditators, Insight Timer is rated as the top free meditation app on the Android and iOS stores -

EnjoyApp (iOS and Android): Over 2 million humans listen to Audiojoy's hand picked audio content for personal development, wellness and life success -
